    LHH ispartnering with a prominent player in the mineral-based solutions industry. We're seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to oversee their ocean export operations.

    This role presents a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, ensuring smooth transportation and logistics processes for international orders from US plants to global customers.


    Responsibilities:


    Coordinate the entire export shipment process, including arranging drayage, preparing documentation, and tracking shipments, in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

    Handle annual booking of US export orders with ocean carriers via EDI or email, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

    Input booking details into the ERP system and keep records updated to accommodate any changes.

    Work closely with ocean carrier operations and drayage dispatch to swiftly resolve container or chassis issues.

    Ensure timely completion of Shipper's Export Declarations (SEDs) and Bill of Lading (BL) instructions.


    Collaborate with credit teams, banks, and customer service to facilitate bank drafts and BL consignments for Letters of Credit (LCs).

    Compile and dispatch shipment documents, such as Commercial Invoices (CI) and Packing Lists (PL), to overseas customers.

    Coordinate effectively with Customer Service, Logistics, Shipping, and Production departments to manage load schedule changes.

    Conduct audits on ocean freight invoices to guarantee accuracy before processing payments through the Accounts Payable (AP) department.

    Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and customer profiles, including key contacts, special requirements, and preferred routings, services, or carriers.

    Complete additional tasks assigned by the manager to support team objectives.

    Keep track of key performance indicators monthly to monitor carrier performance and internal order accuracy.


    Education/Experience Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    At least 2 years of experience in ocean export operations with a freight forwarder or large manufacturer preferred.

    Understanding of INCO TERMS and the parties responsible for paying freight preferred.

    Knowledge or familiarity with custom brokers.


    Pay Details:
    $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
