Overview:

The duties and obligations are to create IaC implementations to include pipeline configuration. Provide overall migration assistance for SAP-powered Tax Administration system architecture. Provide recommendation and guidance in developing a strategic plan to migrate current SAP-powered applications to future SAP technologies on a public cloud. Advise Department on a pathway of governance for achieving Department program objectives.

Create and maintain technical documentation of the future system architecture. Performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall migration assistance for SAP-powered Tax Administration system architecture.
• Provide recommendation and guidance in developing a strategic plan to migrate current SAPpowered
• applications to future SAP technologies on a public cloud.
• Advise Department on a pathway of governance for achieving Department program objectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation of the future system architecture
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• All Consultants must have earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or other related field or equivalent; or one (1) year of DevOps experience for each year of education.

Required consultant experience provided by Contractor, shall include:

• Four-plus years of progressive Azure Cloud experience
• Expert-level Azure certification
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure
• Strong Proficiency of Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM Templates
• Strong knowledge of Git
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, and Nexus
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with Configuration Management tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt, or equivalent tool
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent team-collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

• SAP enterprise architectural design
• Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
