    ZHA Incorporated has an immediate opening for a Construction Project Inspector/Superintendent

    Compensation: $60,000- $85,000 (or commensurate with experience)

    We are looking for a seasoned Inspector/Superintendent with construction experience in Government, Healthcare, or public/private Education experience. You will inspect/oversee project construction activities, including monitoring contractor schedules against the progress of construction, monitoring conformance of installations of various trades to design documents, attend regular construction meetings and provide daily and weekly field reports. Inspector can expect to work on multiple Central Florida projects simultaneously.

    Qualifications & Responsibilities:

    · 8 + years relevant experience.

    · Strong knowledge of construction document content.

    · Proven ability to work with other team members.

    • Exhibit a high degree of self-motivation, accountability, and enthusiasm.
    • Interface with and notify contractors, and associates of any/all issues which may affect the project.
    • Review plans, specifications, provisions, submittals, shop drawings, and other controlling documents to ensure contractor compliance.
    • Interface with design firm's representatives.

    · Assist with negotiation of contractors' change order requests.

    • Inspect materials and construction work for conformance with specifications and submittals.
    • Document all daily events affecting the project.
    • Current Driver's License and reliable transportation, travel expenses will be reimbursed.
