    Physical Therapist (PT)

    About the Role:

    • Perform dynamic resident evaluations and implement effective treatment programs.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to impact residents' lives positively.
    • Create personalized treatment plans and strive to restore physical function.
    • Contribute to a supportive community and make a difference in people's lives.
    • Engage with residents, families, and the team to communicate therapy goals passionately.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate physician referrals and shape dynamic Physical Therapy programs.
    • Administer prescribed therapy programs using various modalities.
    • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services effectively.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and adjust treatment plans as needed.
    • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and conduct training programs.
    • Stay updated on industry practices through continuous learning.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school with a valid state license.
    • Preferably, one year of experience in acute or long-term care settings.
    • Proficient in teaching and communicating effectively.
    • Strong ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrates excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.

    Physical Demands:

    • Physically demanding role with various activities involving mobility and strength.
    • Execute resident transfers and positioning with assistance.
    • Perform tasks that require visual acuity and hearing skills.
    • Ability to lift and move objects of varying weights.

    Work Schedule:

    Varies at each location with the possibility of being scheduled at different sites.
