- Assist members and employees with questions regarding lending products and services
- Answer phone for the loan department professionally and courteously. Schedule appointments and loan closings for loan officers, coordinate the loan department's calendar so that members are served with the highest quality, and take messages and coordinate follow ups.
- Mail or e-mail loan applications and/or loan product information to members and prospective members.
- Assist in processing on-line loan applications
- Collect background information and supporting documentation on loan applicants such as proof of income, collateral information, proof of insurance, etc.
- Interview loan applicants in-person or by phone.
- Assist members with the loan application process to ensure completeness of information. Ensure that all members feel welcomed and are supported professionally in the process.
- Input loans into data system
- Pull credit reports for all loan accounts, verify debts, estimate monthly payment for ANY outstanding debts not listed on the loan application to be included in the debt ratio
- Update members and answer questions throughout the application process. Explain the loan process to include loan options, interest rates and terms, any insurance requirements, loan ancillary products available, etc.
- Present loan application and supporting information/documents to loan officer for final approval
- Print all necessary loan documents and assist in loan closings
- Print and mail loan denial forms for all loans that are declined.
- File and maintain all loan records to ensure accuracy and completeness of work and loan files. Ensure that all required documentation and disclosures are received, signed and maintained appropriately and according to policies.

Purpose: Responsible for interviewing applicants for loans and processing various loan applications. Gather background information, supporting documents, and analyze loan applicants' credit history. Perform a variety of support duties related to the lending function within the bank. Provide back up support for teller/member service areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full Time, M-F, 8-5.
100% paid benefits for employee. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Ins and Long Term Disability.
