When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.
Contributes to the Hospital's mission by servicing the needs of the behavioral health patients. Assumes responsibility for providing skilled, creative, high quality care to patients under the direction of an ED Registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and responsibilities in collaboration with ED clinical staff. Works effectively and collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to enhance the smooth delivery of quality patient care. This position will have an impact on improving quality and safety to patients in the ED. The role includes but it not limited to the use of skilled communication and diversion techniques, collaboration with outside services and face-to-face interaction with patients at the bedside to ensure patient and employee safety.
Job Description:
WORK SCHEDULE:
32 hours/week; Choose 11 am-7:30 pm OR 3-11:30 pm. The schedule includes every other weekend

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Degree in psychology or related field with theoretical as well as practical knowledge
Experience
Preferred: Previous related experience.
Knowledge of the care of the Behavioral Health Patient and Family unit.
