- Office areas are cleaned in accordance with department standards.
- Patient rooms are cleaned daily and upon discharge in accordance with department standards.
- Productivity standards are met.
- Equipment is prepared, cleaned and stored per department guidelines.
- Auxiliary areas are monitored and cleaned (e.g. nurse's station, therapy station, dining rooms, locker rooms, public bathrooms, medical rooms) per established guidelines.
- Elevator service is prioritized to accommodate patients per established guidelines.
- Clean linen is delivered and soiled linen is collected in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Specialty mattresses and associated equipment are delivered and maintained per department guidelines.
- Additional department, organization, or network activities are completed per established objectives.

Summary
Perform a variety of services to maintain cleanliness of the environment. Key activities include cleaning public restrooms, assigned patient rooms and trash removal using standard precautions. Depending on the assigned unit, remove biohazard waste on patient floors, syringe needles boxes. Maintain offices in a clean, hygienic manner, including dusting and vacuuming.
