Regional Sales Manager
role will act as the most important liaison between our distribution network, sales partners, end customers and the company.
This person will help AE Techron by creating and executing the sales strategy in their region while also collaborating with other team members on the marketing strategy for the company. The
Regional Sales Manager
will work alongside other sales leaders to drive the distribution sales cycle and growth of our domestic or international markets.
These positions will report directly to the
Director of Sales
.
The Regional Sales Manager objectives include:
- Collaborate on and implement both short-term and long-term sales strategies, including annual sales targets and promotional plans.
- Observing and reporting back to engineering; market trends, customer needs, and competitors' capabilities, which will help to shape product development strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Manage relationships with AE Techron sales partners, distributors, and key customer accounts to foster loyalty and supply our superior level of customer satisfaction.
- Become knowledgeable in AE Techron products and EMC standards to be able to answer basic customer inquiries and to know when to bring technical specialists in to support potential or existing projects.
- Comfort working with customers who are experts in various technical markets including Automotive, Aerospace, Telecommunications testing, University, Military Research, and Imaging markets.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Represent AE Techron at industry events, important customer-facing meetings, webinars, and communications.
- Collaborate with internal technical, applications, and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop customized solutions.
- Keep CRM system up to date with accurate customer and opportunity information.
- Travel, up to 10% of the time, possible.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Interest in learning, ability to understand technical concepts.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
- Comfortable and skilled at interacting with customers, online, by phone, and in person.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or technical fields like physics and electrical engineering technologies.
- Preferred: Degrees and/or experience in both business and technical related fields.
- Preferred: Understanding of EMC standards (e.g. in Aerospace, Automotive, Defense).
Performance Metrics:
- Customer satisfaction.
- Increase in company revenue from product sales in their region.
- Sales partner engagement with and understanding of AE Techron products.
- Company product knowledge.
Anticipated Compensation Range:
- The compensation package will total $80k to $110k, it will be comprised of a combination of salary and commission.
- Exact compensation depends on job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
