    Job DescriptionDescriptionVerus Mortgage Capital is seeking a Funding Adjustment Analyst who will be responsible for performing research and funding adjustment processing within the Accounting and Treasury function. This role is primarily focused on helping managing the funding adjustment process from start to finish; including but not limited to research, communications with multiple groups and Sellers regarding outstanding adjustments, managing the funding adjustment dashboard/app and email inbox, requesting wires, audit inquiries, and backup of other core accounting functions as assigned. This individual may be required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested. This position is a hybrid position working 2 - 3 days a week in our Bloomington, MN office.
    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Serves as a representative for completing and monitoring aspects of the organization's funding adjustment function.
    • Help manage the funding adjustment dashboard/app, including funding adjustment status updates.
    • Monitor and respond to the Verus Funding Adjustment email inbox.
    • Communicate and research adjustments with the Fund Administrators and DC Accounting Teams as well as the internal Servicing and Lock Desk teams.
    • Monitor the Post Funding Adjustment cash account for incoming cash and prepare wire templates to move cash to the appropriate Funds.
    • Prepare the weekly wire template for funding adjustment wire processing
    • Prepare and send out funding adjustment statements to the Sellers.
    • Wire instructions verification processing for outgoing wires.
    • Assist with the general ledger and monthly close process including review of A/R, A/P and cash reconciliations as needed
    • Contribute to the success of the department with willingness to cross-train and share in all department responsibilities.

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
    • 1 to 3 years' experience in cash management or loan funding's; mortgage industry experience a bonus.
    • Loan Vision application experience a plus.
    • High level experience with Microsoft Excel
