    Job Summary

    $5,000 Sign on bonus for eligible candidates. Offers care to athletes/patients in preventive, emergency, and rehabilitative manner as per Physician's orders, with documented care and treatment. Supports educational and community programs for Orthopaedics service line. Acts as physician extender to supervising physician in Orthopaedics clinics.

    Job Duties

    • Provides Athletic Training Services to patients and contracted organizations as designated.
    • Aids in development, implementation, and staffing for community events and related programming.
    • Sustains other contracted schools or assignments.
    • Builds and maintains community relations, offering educational programs for coaches, athletes, and community members.
    • Updates organization Policy and Procedure manual with annual reviews.
    • Conducts initial patient assessments, develops ongoing patient education, and distributes Home Exercise Programs (HEP).
    • Prepares injections, undertakes splinting, casting, cast and suture removal as per physician's orders.
    • Assists physician during physical exams as required.

    Possible work locations include: Bloomsburg High School, Central Columbia High School, Danville High School, Midd-West High School, Milton High School, Selinsgrove High School, Shikellamy High School, Columbia Montour Votech, Bucknell Club.
