    Brown & Brown is seeking an Commercial LinesAccount Executive for our team in Charleston, South Carolina.

    The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for leading the overall customer relationship. This includes coordinating multiple aspects of and executing the strategic service and marketing plan for current customers and prospective customers.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book, work closely with Producer to develop relationships, client visits, and cross selling
    • Spend a considerable amount of time with customers and new business opportunities; generate new business activity through telemarketing, networking, and personal referrals
    • Introduce new products through the other core business groups, where appropriate.
    • Provide day to day customer support to the team; prepare customer renewals,
    • Follow-up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues, present proposals to customers, ensuring appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend.
    • Develop and oversee customer service plans for each client and understand the needs of the customer.
    • Manage and maintain agency management system with current required information and documents on an ongoing basis, including all IO requirements.
    • Responsible for the end-to-end client service process such as marketing, updating agency management system with final required documents
    • Review Backwards Expiration Report, expiration reports, and daily download
    • Remain knowledgeable on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology.
    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
    • 3-5+ years insurance experience
    • Active MA Property & Casualty Brokers License
    • Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
