- Ensure seamless implementation by identifying and anticipating performance capabilities, capacity and/or configuration problems, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and by maintaining integrity and availability.
- Configure monitor, upgrade, and maintain the mobile environment to include physical/virtual infrastructure, endpoint devices, and desktop/mobile applications.
- Analyze current programs to identify technical issues/software limitations and proactively resolve problems and implement necessary changes.
- Perform user account management for the CAF OMD program
- Engineer new solutions both on site and in the cloud to improve mobile operations and capabilities.
- Develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms to meet aircrew mission requirements
- Coordinate installation and use of all mobile applications on all CAF OMD products.
- Provide support, input, and documentation to increase mobile device capabilities while maintaining or improving application quality and responsiveness.
- Coordinate with other staff at MAJCOM, SAF and DoD levels on Mobile Application requirements, design, policy, processes, and approvals.
- Provide specific feedback to improve products and processes.
- Provide advice/solutions to improve application development, approval process, and mobile device functionality.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Active secret level clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related technical field.
- IAT Level II certification IAW DoD 8570.
- 3 years of industry experience with developing mobile applications.
- Proficient with HTML5, Objective-C, SWIFT, C++, C#, and JAVA.
- 3 years of experience with iOS and Android design principles and interface guidelines as well as cloud computing.
- 3 years of experience with iOS and Android SDK, to include different versions of Android, and dealing with different screen sizes.
- 1 year of experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- 1 year of experience with NIAP certification process and evaluation criteria.
- 1 year of experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Mobile Content Management (MCM) solutions
