    Postdoctoral Fellow in Nanomedicine

    We are a newly established NanoImmunology lab at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Department of Medicine, in the City of New York. Our laboratory is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of immunologists and bioengineers and currently seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to work in precision medicine and nanomedicine. The postdoc will mainly work on a project that aims to develop and employs novel antigen delivery modalities for immunotherapy. The postdoc will be responsible for designing, synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of novel nanodelivery modalities for the co-delivery of antigen and small molecules. The postdoc will also involve in collaborative projects in immunology as a side project. After generating high quality data, the postdoc will summarize and present results during lab meetings and on seminars and publish them on peer-reviewed journals. The postdoc is also expected to train students, lab technician, and possibly other junior postdocs and oversee the lab activities.     Job Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry (applied Chemistry), or related fields. Expertise in common analytical techniques (HPLC, NMR, DLS, TEM) is required for synthesis and physicochemical characterization of nanomaterial. Experience in nanomedicine and immunology is desirable. Excellent communication and writing skills in English is preferable.
