    Assembly Technician (Part time, 24 hours per week) Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a premier electrical component company in the Norcross/Gwinnet County area, is seeking Part-time Assembly Technicians to join their team This is a facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharingAssembly Technician Overview:
    • $20.00 Hourly
    • 24 hours a week- Part time
    • Shift 8:00 am -5:00pm PART Time, 3 days a week.
    Assembly Technician Job Duties:
    • Assemble custom LED light strips into premanufactured housings.
    • Must be able to read and comprehend detailed Assembly Technical job aid.
    • Measuring and cutting aluminum strips to length using scissors.
    • Use Power Saw to cut Aluminum housings.
    • Add cables/LED lights to final light fixtures.
    • Soldering wires/cables/clamp connectors to LED strip contacts.
    • Install plastic lens covers and end caps to aluminum housing units.
    Assembly Technician Additional responsibilities:
    • Provide Function tests and quality checks on completed assembly units.
    • Packaging and Shipping
    Assembly Technician Requirements:
    • 2 years Mechanical parts assembly experience
    • 2 years of hand soldering experience including wire harnesses.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience reading and following Assembly job aids.
    • Demonstrable experience on reading and measuring a tape measure in inches and metric.
    • Good organizational skills with production assembly
    • Experience operating power saw and power sander.
    • Good analytical problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
    • Attention to detail.
