    About The Position

    Clinical Architecture is in search of a Clinical Informaticist in the Indianapolis, IN area. As part of our Professional Services team, the Clinical Informaticist leverages clinical and informatics knowledge to assist customers in addressing health information interoperability challenges. This role will push you to master our software and use it to support our customers' goals. Your clinical expertise will be instrumental in guiding Clinical Architecture's clients on their data journey to enhance patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with clients to grasp their needs and use cases.
    • Conduct research and propose solutions or modeling strategies.
    • Translate local data sets into standard terminologies like LOINC and SNOMED.
    • Evaluate and provide feedback on standards-based solutions for interoperability issues.
    • Analyze workflows related to health data capture, retrieval, and analysis.
    • Create content models for representing clinical information.
    • Work closely with Clinical Architecture's Medical and Informatics teams to ensure the accuracy of clinical information.
    • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and excel in time management.
    • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbally and in writing.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related clinical field is mandatory.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare or biomedical setting is required.
    • Preferably, familiarity with healthcare data management, clinical informatics, standard terminologies, and data analysis.
