    Reliability Manager WestRock )

    The Opportunity:
    The Reliability Manager develops and manages the maintenance and reliability staff, supporting the objectives of the facility to achieve business goals. Develops and administers plant maintenance systems, providing project management and maintenance services to the plant. The manager administers the maintenance budget and ensures compliance with regulations and corporate standards. Leads the reliability and maintenance department and supervises the department members, including performance management, pay administration, promoting career development and coordinating technical duties.

    How You Will Impact WestRock:
    • Optimize preventative maintenance (PM) plan, strategize ways to move towards predictive maintenance program.
    • Instill a "proactive" approach towards safety with employee engagement.
    • Manages and optimizes outside contractor services and contracts for facility.
    • Creates the maintenance annual budget and manages maintenance costs.
    • Creates, implements, and monitors metrics to identify continuous improvement needs and performance management issues.
    • Manages the reliability and maintenance procedure system and the documentation system (e.g., equipment files)
    • Ensures that the inventory in the storeroom is adequate and optimum to meet business needs
      Work with Department Managers to understand production schedules and priority lines
    • Manages site reliability team members including lead, technicians, parts room, machine shop, and sanitation.
    • Coach and mentor reliability team members and actively support team member career development.
    • Ensure employees are effectively trained to meet expectations.
    • Ensure accountability and discipline are applied consistently and correctly across all shifts (24x7 operations).
    • Reward, recognize, and celebrate accomplishments and improvements with team members.
    Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

    The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
    • Bachelors' degree Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering strongly preferred.
    • 5+ years of management experience in the Maintenance arena; experience operating in a Lean, or TPM continuous improvement environment.
    • Experience in managing complex equipment installations.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of capital management (P&L and capital budgets).
    • Electrical/PLC/programming experience nice to have.
    • Experience in CMMS, JDE, Microsoft Office and ERP proficiency required.
