Senior Revenue AccountantPrimary Responsibilities:

Attain a comprehensive understanding of the company's commission revenue stream and methodology for tracking monthly commission receipts, facilitating precise revenue estimation and accruals at a granular level towards specific Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts.

Aid in the process of revenue recognition for diverse lines of business such as retirement & wealth, consulting, and property & casualty.

Contribute to the monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) estimation and review procedures.
Ensure thorough monthly reconciliation of AR and other revenue-related accounts, conducting proper investigations into any reconciling items.
Collaborate with Regional Finance Leaders to furnish relevant reports and insightful data aimed at propelling organic revenue growth.

Deliver ongoing analysis of emerging revenue patterns across various organizational tiers, including the development of routine metrics such as AR aging.

Engage with offices to probe revenue discrepancies and relay accounting adjustments.
Lead the formulation and implementation of new procedures and features to streamline departmental workflows.
Undertake additional tasks as necessary.


Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/related field2-4 years of experienceCPA or CPA track requiredASC 606 (revenue recognition) experience requiredStrong Excel (pivots, v-lookups at a minimum)
