    We are seeking a **DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR** to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. Our Distribution Warehouse Supervisor helps handle the day to day activities of the warehouse, with a strong focus on the Household Goods warehouse White Glove new furniture delivery. They help control the inventory and distribution of goods within the warehouse and they serve as a liaison between the contractors and operations staff.

    Responsibilities for our Distribution Warehouse Supervisor include but are not limited to:

    Responsible for supervising the resources and staff of a warehouse to include the operations of household goods, consolidation and distribution activities;

    Drive a CDL/Non-CDL truck to make off-site pickups and deliveries;

    Maintain the warehouse locator system using Asset Controls Windfall program for commercial and residential property;

    Ensure coordination of Warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as Operations, Sales, Record Controls and Purchasing;

    Maintain customer satisfaction with our services by acting as a liaison between customer and company;

    Manage inventory and distribution of commercial and residential goods;

    Manage the companys equipment and packing material inventory;

    Supervise Warehouse handling and transportation activities;

    Use a forklift or Reach truck to load, unload and put away commercial and residential goods;

    Ensure good housekeeping and clean up including the parking lots and grounds;

    Other duties assigned by management

    The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent (required);

    Class A or B license is preferred but not required;

    Minimum 3-year warehouse experience is required, moving and storage pick / pack, order fulfillment and inventory experience is preferred;

    Forklift certification is a mandatory expectation of the position - existing certification is desired but company will train in desired candidate if necessary;

    Basic computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Windfall experience is preferred;

    Experience in the safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet pickers, and other material handling equipment;

    Experience in inventory control using Asset Controls Windfall program, exception taking and palletizing is essential;

    Claims awareness and safe material handling practices are critical;

    Highly organized and able to set priorities;

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate abstract ideas and concepts;

    Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;

    Dedication to providing each customer with a positive, memorable experience;

    Stand, walk on non-forgiving surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal (to include fiberglass ramps placed on a 30-degree angles);

    Operate a sit-down forklift using hands, arms, fingers and feet to drive, steer and work the levers;

    Operate a stand-up Reach Truck using hands, arms, fingers and feet to drive, steer and work levers, and legs to stand for an extended period of time;

    Use of finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms;

    Climb, balance, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist and crawl;

    Occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 100 pounds without mechanical aid;

    Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and accurately read written and computer-generated information in English;

    Capable of working in both climate controlled warehouse and outdoors in all-weather environments and conditions
