Job Description

Amanufacturing company is seeking an individual who can set-up and operate Zinc and Aluminum Die Cast Machines. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

Set-up all job orders and perform die changes per schedule
Aluminum and Zinc Die Cast set-up
Perform die changes in an efficient manner in order to reduce downtime
Operate cranes and lift trucks to transfer dies
Organize and prioritize in order to meet goals to reduce machine downtime
Perform all required quality checks and obtain first piece approval
Review and recommend process improvement opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years experience in Zinc & Aluminum Die Casting is preferred
Foundry or equivalent experience is required
Must be able to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists
Must be proficient with the functions and capabilities of Die Cast/Foundry Machinery
Must have strong mechanical abilities and able to perform heavy manual labor
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to solve problems and multi-task
Must be able to work together as a team, be organized, and able to prioritize
Must have strong communication skills
Must have steel toed footwear
Must be able to work overtime when needed
Must be comfortable working with hot metals and in a hot and dirty environment
