Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the Department of Psychology in the College of Health, Science and Technology. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.

Current opportunities include teaching the following courses for the Fall 2024 semester (classes begin August 26, 2024):

• General Psychology
• Developmental Psychology: Lifespan
• Social Psychology
• Senior Seminar

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must either have a Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology or associated field (ABD acceptable)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to handle all situations in a pleasant and professional manner
• Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).
