    What you'll do:
    We are seeking a CFO to join our team as a business leader with deep finance expertise.

    The CFO will oversee all financial functions, HR, and operations, as well as lead the strategic direction and execution of non-investment and investment activities at the firm.

    Reporting directly into the General Partner, the CFO will work closely with the company's partners to build financial goals which align with our the investment strategy.

    This role will be responsible for setting both short term and long term direction of fund finance, fund management, compliance/human resources and firm operations


    Responsibilities:
    Oversee all financial functions and including fund finance, fund management, compliance/human resources and firm operations
    Set financial strategies, objectives, and policies aligned with the current fund's goals.

    Manage the Director of Finance and work with them to execute on partnership accounting, financial tax and treasury reporting, financial information systems, and payroll.

    Conduct financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimize fund performance and profitability.
    Prepare and present financial reports, including quarterly and annual financial statements, to stakeholders and senior management.
    Foster strong relationships with existing and potential investors through investor relations efforts.
    Manage the fundraising process, managing due diligence processes, data room materials, and special requests.
    Provide comprehensive reporting for LPs, including reviewing contracts and negotiating subscription documents and side letters.
    Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate timely audits and tax filings.
    Ensure compliance with legal and tax regulations specific to investment funds.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA designation preferred.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a CFO role within an investment firm.
    Strong knowledge of fund management processes, financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
    Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to drive strategic decision-making.
    Demonstrated experience in investor relations and fundraising, managing relationships with LPs and potential investors.
    Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    Proficiency in financial software, data analysis tools, and platforms such as Excel, Carta, and banking systems.
