    Job Description Job Description Responsibilities:
    Prepare basic deliverables and products including calculations, drawings, and specificationsOversees all aspects of projectsSets deadlines and assigns responsibilitiesExamine field conditions as required to support development and completion of projectsDesign building electrical systems including power, lighting, communication, security systems and fire alarm while adhering to the firms QA/QC processDevelop project specificationsAttend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future and or current projectsResponsible for meeting the clients project goals and objectivesAssist in business development by pursuing new work including participation in client presentationsAssist in the firms human resource efforts through training and mentoring junior firm membersEnhances the firms reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing internal and external client requestsDemonstrates core values and serves as a role model/mentor to all firm membersUpdates job knowledge and technical expertise by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in technical organizations and obtaining certifications in area of expertise and participating in the firms Technical Committee as requestedPerform other duties as assignedS kills/Qualifications:Bachelors Degree from an accredited engineering programMinimum of 5 years of experience with a consulting engineering firmComprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standardsStrong organizational, prioritization, decision making and analytical skillsPossess strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasive and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environmentAbility to consistently set goals and meet deadlines and adapt to flexible responsibilitiesWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit softwareProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

    Experience with Deltek Vision or Project Resource Management software is preferredAbility to meet and exceed client expectationsRequired/Preferred Credentials:

    PE license is preferredLEED Certification is preferredCertifications in areas of expertise are preferredJob Classification and Scheduled work hours:Full Time Salaried Exempt Employee.

    Exempt employees are ineligible for Overtime Pay.
    Standard workweek is Monday-FridayMinimum 8 working hours/day (40 hours/week Monday-Friday) within the firms hours of operation of 7:00a.m.-6:00p.m.
    You may be required to work extra hours in order to meet clients demands and project delivery target dates.
    Travel to client meetings and worksites may be required on occasion.
