    Veterinary Assistant- TLC Animal Hospital

    TLC Animal Hospital is a well-established small animal clinic open for more than 25 years, providing state-of-the-art in-house medical diagnostics, preventive health care, surgery, and radiology, located in beautiful Palm Harbor, Florida. Our goal is to provide compassionate and quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.

    Who We're Looking For

    Not only do you enjoy working with dogs and cats but you'll play an important role in bringing comfort to our furry patients and ensuring the smooth running of our kennel and hospital facilities. The number one priority is caring for boarding patients, other responsibilities include keeping all areas of the hospital clean, assisting the veterinarians and technicians in examinations, assisting in answering phone calls, assisting in the lab as well as surgical and dental procedures pre-op and post-op.

    Requirements
    • 3+ years experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Patient and caring personality
    • Ability to follow instructions properly
    • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (ex. lift up to 30 lbs alone and >30 lbs assisted)
