    Job DescriptionOverviewThe Registered Nurse - CVICU is a crucial member of the healthcare team, providing specialized care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. They play a key role in monitoring and treating patients with cardiac issues, ensuring their comfort and safety, and communicating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the CVICU
    • Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families
    • Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care as needed
    • Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions about patient care
    • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
    • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities
    • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
    • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interventions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
    • Emotional resilience and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
    • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and healthcare technology
