    Description

    **Amentum** is seeking a **Part time Store Attendants** located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Store Attendant will perform the resale of merchandise in a retail environment.

    **Job Requirements:**

    + Move merchandise by use of non-motorized equipment that is intended for display and resale

    + purposes

    + Cleaning of merchandise on or in display fixtures

    + Utilizing various merchandise techniques common to retail trade

    + Merchandise may be displayed by a predetermined placement system using labels or other

    + identifying marks.

    + Maintain the display sales area by straightening merchandise to give a neat, full, and salable

    + appearance

    + Remove damaged or outdated merchandise

    + Display merchandise in such a manner to maintain freshness and sale dates

    + May determine display or sale requirements from existing inventory

    + May be required to keep inventory forms of merchandise stocked and merchandise returned to

    + storage

    + May be required to affix labels to merchandise indicating sale price, item description, or other

    + information

    + May be required to offer customer or patron assistance with the location or selection of merchandise.

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    + Must possess a active government issued clearance at time of application or be a base resident

    + Must be a US citizen

    + High school Diploma or GED

    + Previous retail and/or sales experience a major plus

    + Computer literate and comfortable using POS systems

    + Thrives working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team

    + Able to work long hours on ones feet, stand for an entire shift

    + Available to work evenings

    + Must be a fast learner and able to think quickly on ones feet

    + Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills

    + Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

    + Self-motivated and self-directed

    + Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks

    + Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends

    + Able to bend, move, and lift up to 25 pounds or more

    + Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
