- Lead communications efforts to include planning and executing communications strategy, product development, and quality control
- Develop programmatic material required to support position papers, reports, briefings, Congressional testimony, and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft talking points and slides for use by leadership with internal and external engagements.
- Prepare communication plans and coordinate public release approval through appropriate offices.
- Plan and implement virtual or in person meetings, such as program reviews and other collaborations.
- Attend meetings and assist in goal setting and evaluation techniques to assess programmatic and departmental effectiveness
- A minimum of ten (10) years' recent and relevant experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills, unstructured verbal interactions, briefings, and meeting moderation.
- Knowledge of and ability to lead the public release process by preparing media packets and ensuring proper clearance is obtained from DoD Public Affairs for all public facing media.
- Experience in strategic communications is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams applications.
- Experience leading/supporting DoD programs or other S&T program management is preferred

Strategic Analysis, Inc(SA) seeks a Program Communications Coordinator to support an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) customer
Work Location:
Hybrid - On-site work with our government clients in the Mark Center of Alexandria, VA is anticipated to be 1 day per week and is subject to change
Candidates must be local to the Washington, DC commuting area
As a Program Communications Coordinator, you will develop and review communication products and strategies for clarity, effectiveness, and alignment with leadership intent, and will assist with tasks that include, but are not limited to:
This includes creating and maintaining comprehensive marketing, communications, and outreach plans across various mediums, developing and incorporating technical content, articulating Departmental goals and objectives, and effectively translating them into communication strategies and campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS Clearance:
An active DoD SECRET level clearance is required
Education:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; a science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or business and communications field is preferred
Highly specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements
