Job summary
The role of the Manager Accounts Payable AP is to manage the AP life cycle and all related applications Directly guide manage and develop the AP team Collaborate with business partners throughout the organization DFA suppliers on all aspects of procure-to-pay cycle ensuring that disbursements are optimizedOversee AP team calculate post verify vendor invoices disbursements ensure timely accurate processing accounts payable transactions Pro actively monitor invoice processing accuracy response times exception resolution metrics met main point contact escalations Handle SAP issues implement process changes accommodate systematic handling such issues Maximize OCR paper invoice process maintaining strong relationship third party provider overseeing exception resolution ensuring entire process efficient effective reducing processing lead times Initiate evaluate AP process improvements documentation manage implementation processes changed Partner IT lead testing implementation SAP enhancements break fix service tickets related AP processes Oversee GRIR maintenance partnering corporate locations ensure balances less than days outstanding Provide innovative ideas management understanding procure pay cycle well as SAP Lead planning evaluate employee staffing levels balancing workloads excellent customer service meeting metrics Provide leadership direction manner cultivates respect responsibility robust employee evaluations Oversee reinforcement training produced delivered business partners AP team members The requirements herein intended describe general nature level work performed employee but not complete list responsibilities duties skills required Other duties may assigned required Minimum Requirements Education Experience Undergraduate degree accounting business administration other related curriculum equivalent practical work experience experience substituted education year year basis years accounting accounts payable or related experience including years supervisory experience SAP experience preferred Knowledge Skills Abilities Strong knowledge general accounting concepts practices concentrated knowledge area Accounts Payable Skilled leadership coaching Can conform shifting priorities demands timelines analytical problem solving capabilities Strong implementer Self driven committed hands on work habits Able demonstrate approachable professional demeanor Able solve customer demands problems Skilled analytical thinking research interpreting data analyzing information Strong interpersonal skills exceptional communication listening skills capacity articulate positions provide direction Able demonstrate integrity commitment highest ethical standards values proven ability maintain confidentiality Ability elicit cooperation variety sources upper management plant locations departments Project management skills handle multiple projects consecutively Excellent judgment critical thought ability make decisions advise demonstrating understanding risks rewards situation Knowledge skill Microsoft Office specifically Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Must able read write speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer Disabled Veterans>
