Vaco Denver is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to join our valued client in the hospitality industry The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for supporting all Accounts Payable functions including but not limited to filing data entry and invoice discrepancy research.
·
Processing all incoming utilities, invoices, property taxes etc
·
Setting up new utility accounts
·
Assisting the AP team with check processing
·
Ensuring the accuracy, appropriateness, and legitimacy of utility related invoices submitted for payment
·
Communicating with vendors regarding their account status through written or verbal means
·
Providing timely responses to vendors and coworkers via calls and emails
Qualifications
·
Minimum 3–4 years experience in an Accounts Payable position
·
Familiarity with Great Plains Accounting Software a plus
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook
