    Job Description


    SUMMARY


    The position is responsible for activities that include gathering and organizing financial data, analyzing historical results, assisting with forecasts and projects, and applying appropriate accounting principles to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • \tRevenue and expense analysis
    • \tAnalyzing financial results and activity for trends and corrective action
    • \tReview assigned monthly account reconciliation schedules
    • \tForecast and budget preparation
    • \tDevelopment of actions to improve profitability and processes
    • \tAssist with responding to requests related to audits
    • \tServe as backup for various accounting functions
    • \tOther similar duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS
    \tEducation:
    Bachelor's degree required with major in Accounting or Finance with an Accounting emphasis

    \tExperience: 5-7 years in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment required


    • \tKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and principles of finance
    • \tConstruction accounting experience a plus
    • \tIntermediate skills with ERP – Viewpoint a plus
    • \tProficient in Microsoft Office products – Intermediate level required
