Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Manager for our Food Truck operation to lead daily activities, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, service, and team management within a fast-paced mobile food environment. Your leadership will drive sales growth, uphold sanitation standards, and foster a positive atmosphere that delights our customers and motivates your team. Responsibilities
- Lead daily food truck operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, timely service, and excellent customer interactions.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, including proper food storage and cleanliness.
- Must have experience in hauling a trailer (20-foot)
- Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction through menu recommendations.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and managing supplies to prevent shortages or waste.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety standards and sanitation protocols; conduct regular cleanliness checks of the truck's kitchen area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for register balancing, and prepare daily financial reports.
- Support marketing efforts by engaging with customers, promoting specials or new menu items, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant management within quick service or fast-food environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; previous cashiering or cashier experience is highly desirable.
- Strong culinary background with knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling to increase revenue while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Experience working in a mobile or retail food environment such as cafés or grocery stores is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and sales reporting; proficiency in retail math is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining compliance with health regulations and company policies.
