- 7pm-7:30am
- Perform complex periodic maintenance on automated and other production systems and equipment using knowledge of solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers, etc.
- Troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, inspect, and test a variety of production systems and equipment.
- Perform equipment failure analysis and preventive maintenance
- Work with the engineering staff and outside vendors regarding equipment installation, upgrades, and parts.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. - Preferred
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricate and repair counters, benches, guarding and other structures.
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (electrical/mechanical)- Preferred
- Knowledge of robotics, robotic controls, and vision systems Preferred
- Other duties as assigned
- Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand up lifts.
- Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively.
- Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Working in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.
- All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures
- Associates degree from a 2-year college or 5 years related experience and/or training in a machine shop field
