- Assist the Manager of the Quality department in implementing and maintaining the quality management system
- Train personnel in manufacturing and quality to build quality awareness
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for process, product, internal, and external customer concerns
- Interface with Quality and Production Departments in auditing the injection and manufacturing processes to ensure quality expectations are met
- Support Quality Inspectors by programming the inspection routines in the available equipment to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system
- Conduct audits, assist in closing out audit findings, create audit-finding reports, and determine proper corrective and preventive actions
- Assist the Quality Coordinator and Quality Manager to prepare PPAP packages according to customer-specific requirements
- Assist in the managing of engineering samples and quality-controlled part shipment for under-development and non-approved processes
- Learn to use available inspection equipment and instrumentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Technical degree in quality or equivalent experience
- 3 years minimum experience
- Technical knowledge of quality management systems, auditing, and quality systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate including software programs
- Analytical/problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
- Ability to take on a leadership role
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately
- Dependable, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and innovative
