    Preferred/Bonus Skills:
    DataLake Architectures - Snowflake, Databricks (AWS google cloud exp)

    Design tools (i.e., Visio preferred but any design tool is fine)

    Is there anything you are willing to flex on if there is not a candidate under the current market conditions with all your must have skills?

    If a candidate is stronger in certain technical skills than others - the manager would be flexible on reviewing them (i.e., stronger in azure cloud/azure database but weaker in others - he would still consider as long as they had the knowledge/tech skill overall) & aptitude/willingness to learn asap


    Responsible for:
    Implementing, Operating and Designing Azure Databricks solution

    Designing of the implementation architecture for all models that need to be operationalized in a hybrid cloud setting

    Liaising between the data scientists /data engineers and IT to productionize models

    Establishing code and documentation standards to reduce impedance between model development and model deployment

    Designing and overseeing implementation of the model lifecycle for all models

    Creation of reference architectures and best practices for model implementation

    Supporting decisions around tools and frameworks across all aspects of model lifecycle

    Communications to business stakeholders and IT partners


    Day to Day:
    Implementing and operating the Azure Databricks and cloud environment

    Governing the machine learning and data analytics labs

    Providing AI & ML, data engineering to enable the business to be successful in Azure Databricks

    Creating necessary changes within the environment

    Working w/Enterprise architecture to develop native cloud strategy

    Conducting onboarding meetings for business cloud adoptions

    The team is mainly composed of a financial services background.

    The manager is open to a diverse industry background; financial services background is a strong/preferred.

    Business AI teams, enterprise architecture, and MIS teams (who do data analytics, Cloud Infrastructure Team & AI)

    Describe the impact this role has within the bank/LOB (i.e., mitigating risk, cost reduction, revenue, etc.):

    Larger initiative for a funded program called "advanced analytics" funded by the Enterprise Data Management Team to implement Azure Databricks and Enterprise Model Ops to mitigate data risk, reducing costs of AI/ML, Data Engineering, and adding opportunities to generate revenue in the Retail, C&IB and LOBs.


    Describe the function your group supports from an LOB perspective:

    Enterprise wide (Azure, Cloud adoption for model ops)

    Is this position contract with the right to hire if a need becomes available? Manager will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a full time PNC employee.
