    Position Description
    Korsmo Construction is looking for an

    Assistant Service Manager

    in our Tacoma office.

    Korsmo Construction has been around since the late 1940's and serves clients throughout the greater Puget Sound Region.

    The

    Assistant Service Manager


    is a dedicated, proactive, trustworthy, and detailed individual who is involved with subcontractors, team members, design professionals, and clients daily.

    They are responsible for professional work involving project management, analysis, documentation, and reporting of various aspects of complex construction projects.

    The ASM works directly with the Service Manager on all aspects of project estimating and management, creating and maintaining project documentation, materials receiving and accountability, safety compliance and quality control.

    The ASM works hard to keep the team focused on potential, upcoming, and outstanding issues related to project scope and schedule.

    The position is fulltime (40 hours), and the salary range is $50,000-$65,000 per year depending on experience.

    Position Requirements
    Position does not require a bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field but is preferred.

    Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must be able to interpret and understand design documents and specifications. Also requires understanding of construction law, project management practices, and essential building tasks and sequences. Must have competency in MS Windows as well as MS Office365.
