    Job Title: Second Shift Machine Operator

    The Gund Company is looking for a Second Shift Machine Operator for its manufacturing plant in Waukesha, WI. This is an entry-level position that involves working on the composites molding press/pultrusion line.

    • Shift: Second (2:30pm - 11pm Mon-Fri)
    • Hourly Wage: $21-$24/hour (plus 15% Shift Premium)
    • Location: 809 Philip Drive Waukesha, WI 53186

    Responsibilities:

    • Manufacture molded polyester sheets by laying up material and spreading resin as per customer orders
    • Set up and operate machines for compression molding sheets and pultruding shapes
    • Inspect molded sheet edges, record production data, and handle finished goods
    • Clean dies and molds, move materials, and maintain a clean work area

    Requirements:

    • Forklift experience
    • Basic to Intermediate math skills
    • Prior hands-on experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry
    • Experience with hand tools and measuring instruments preferred
    • Mechanical knowledge and ability to thrive in a physical environment

    Work Environment:

    The work environment at The Gund Company involves shop conditions, exposure to varying noise levels, and physical tasks. Team members must be prepared for normal shop conditions without climate control.
