    Description

    Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team in Houston

    • Responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, and testing instrumentation & control systems (SCADA)
    • Collaborate with internal departments such as information technology, engineering, and operations
    • Lead project management, oversee teams, and ensure quality control in all project phases
    • Provide instrumentation & control design services for water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and related sites
    • Perform onsite work for municipal clients including instrumentation configuration, installation assistance, and control system start-up/testing
    • Available on-call 24/7 (rotating weekly) to address instrumentation/control issues

    Requirements:

    • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer handling design, programming, installation, and startup tasks
    • Proficiency in programming with PLCs, SCADA, and OITs software
    • Experience with various products, including Allen-Bradley SLC, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, and more
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Preferably Auto CAD/Visio experience

    Salary will be based on experience level.
