Position OverviewThe Associate Product Manager will focus on Global Payments' Unified Payments and Developer Experience product offering. Enabling new payment and worldwide system access through a single, consistent and easy to use integration.
Unified Payments offers a seamless customer experience across every channel, location and device globally through various solutions such as Shopping Carts & Plugins.
Hosted Solutions, SDK & Libraries and REST API.The Developer Experience team is focused on building and delivering high quality solutions to market ensuring the integration experience for our customers is accessible and easy to follow.
To do this we focus on providing concise developer documentation and having a good understanding of how our customers integrate with our products to help alleviate any pain points.
The Associate Product Manager will work with teams across the organisation to plan, prioritise and deliver our products through our various solutions.
They will work with product managers to gain a deep understanding of their products and how we will deliver those solutions to market.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical ability and enjoy taking on complexity, to help understand and communicate to development teams the products and services we want to deliver across our solutions.
They will also be able to produce quality guides that our external customers can follow in order to integrate to our Unified Payments product offering.
This is an exciting role with potential for the right candidate to develop and grow a critical offering within the Global Payments Product organisation.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesGain a deep understanding of the systems and platforms within Global Payments, both existing and new.
Collaborate with engineering, applying agile methodology, to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
Communicate the value of the product offering by producing market facing documentation and supporting sales and customer success teams in evangelising its features and benefits.
Own and manage a product backlog, responsible for working with development teams to prioritise, make decisions and problem solve
Work closely with user researchers and product designers to help solve challenges and deliver a seamless inclusive developer experience.
Represent the voice of the customer in the product development process, ensuring that engineering teams understand the business context for concepts on our roadmap.
We work in a fast-moving, agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time also.

Qualifications & Experience
Experience of working with an API product or equivalent software product
Experience with developer focussed tools such as SDKs and Libraries, Developer Portals and GitHub is a plus.
Experience with commerce focussed SMB software platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify and OpenCart is a plus.
Experience with commerce focussed Enterprise software platforms such as Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly hybris) is a plus
Degree in Computing, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
Experience of designing processes to support and guide other teams
Technical aptitude and exceptional ability to pay close attention to key details in order to analyse, understand, validate and develop new product features
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment
Highly organised with proven ability to work on cross-functional teams
