- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, applied behavior analysis
- Experience using applied behavior principles and/or working with individuals with developmental
- Strong knowledge of Excel including data collection and graphing methods.
- Working knowledge of preschool through 12th grade academic content and subject matter.
- Strong knowledge of appropriate social skills by age and grade
- Strong understanding of Individual Education Programs and IDEA.
- Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary special education team/IEP team including student's
- Report directly to BCBA supervisor and special education case manager on a regular basis.
- Operate within the parameters of HIPPA, FERRPA, BACB Code of Ethics, IDEA and the school
- Work across schools and classrooms with regular and special education teachers as assigned.
- Provide direct behavior supports to students in 1:1 and group settings.
- Implement student behavior intervention plans (BIP), educational plans, and activities of daily
- Records quality behavioral data to monitor individual's progress and report any progress or
- Use Excel and other data recording software effectively and efficiently
- Use data to make instructional decisions on a daily basis
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families and other school personnel.
