Radiology Technologist II - Radiology - FT/Days

SUMMARY: Competently performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve good quality studies under a variety of conditions with little or no supervision. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum three (3) years experience in Diagnostic Radiology
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Must demonstrate experience or level of competency in working with leadership to improve technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED AND a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology OR a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology
• College Degree - 4 year preferred
• BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License
• RT-R - ARRT Reg Tech Radiography preferred
• RHF - Rad Tech/Fluoroscopy License required within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS:

• Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Day shifts

PAY RANGE:

• $ $58.40
