- Offer advanced technical guidance on the installation and configuration of customer hardware assets for Data Center IT systems.
- Solve Tier III problems over the phone with users, guiding them through troubleshooting steps to identify and classify issues.
- Provide expert support for resolving technical issues, customizing products, and repairing complex systems.
- Review system configurations to ensure smooth IT systems integration.
- Maintain system stability through advanced analytical techniques and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to prevent recurring incidents. Assist in developing support tools and troubleshooting techniques for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and apply known solutions to reported problems, escalating to specialists when necessary. Provide training to customers as needed.
- Maintain network documentation for the Data Center environment.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience, or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years' experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required; Must be eligible for Public Trust clearance.
- Prior experience in Data Center operations.
- Proficiency in fiberoptic and copper cabling installation.
- Strong knowledge of Network protocols.
- Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster recovery.
- Support experience with Hardware and Software tools within Data Centers.
- Flexibility to work on a 24x7x365 schedule.
