    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Urology team.

    The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, consistent with their education, experience, and certification, in collaboration with physicians.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and assessment services to urology patients in various settings
    • Managing acute and chronic urologic conditions, including general urology, urologic oncology, and reconstructive urology
    • Providing education, disease prevention, and pre-operative and post-operative instruction
    • Serving patients independently and in collaboration with physicians

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate compassion and empathy, and maintain a high level of organization and time management skills.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Nurse Practitioner:
      • MSN or grandfathered under Ohio Revised Code
      • Graduate of an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program
      • Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Ohio
      • Certificate of Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing
      • Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty
      • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
    • Physician Assistant:
      • Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program
      • Current PA licensure in the State of Ohio
      • Board Certification as a Physician Assistant from NCCP Current BLS
      • Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department
      • Maintains a supervision agreement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Medicine
