    Description

    As the assistant coach, you will help manage recruiting, scouting, promotions, statistics, coaching, practice planning, game preparation, academic support, fundraising, and daily office work.

    Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with coordinating, developing, and improving player skills, team strategy and concepts, and increasing player's lacrosse knowledge.

    In this role, you will accompany the team to all events or activities, encouraging and supporting academic excellence. Additionally, you will provide pre-game, half-time, and post-game analysis for improvement.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Collegiate lacrosse playing experience
    • Ability to drive a 15-passenger van

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous coaching and recruitment experience

    Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

    • Valid driver's license

    Travel Required:

    • 10% to 20%

    Work Hours:
    The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
