Job summary
We are looking for a Container Technician to perform preventive maintenance services and inspect diagnose and repair compactors and containers under general supervision performs repairs assigned preventive maintenance services performs inspection diagnosis and repair of electrical hydraulic suspension brake and air systems as needed estimates time material costs on compactor container repairs requisitions new parts completes required paperwork documenting parts usage accounting for repair times assists senior technicians in the completion of project work maintains a clean safe work area in compliance with corporate OSHA standards performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures This job has no supervisory duties The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job Education None required Experience Two years relevant work experience Valid driver s license must have a clean driving record Must be at least 18 years old Legally eligible to work in the United States Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Successfully complete pass pre employment drug screen physical Work Environment Listed below are key points regarding the physical requirements and work environment of the job Required use motor coordination arm hand finger leg dexterity Required exert physical effort handling objects more than pounds frequently will be exposed a physical environment which involves dirt odors noise weather extremes most day The expected base pay rate this on site position $33 per hour This rate represents good faith estimate this position specific salary offered successful candidate may influenced variety factors including candidate s relevant experience education training certifications qualifications location Benefits At WM each eligible employee receives competitive total compensation package including Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short Term Disability As well as Stock Purchase Plan Company match 401K Our employees also receive Paid Vacation Holidays Personal Days Please note benefits vary by site If this sounds like opportunity that you been looking for please click Apply
