- Conduct relevant physical exam and evaluate patient, documenting pertinent findings.
- Provide care for adult patients who have cardiovascular complaints and conditions.
- Conduct and supervise cardiac diagnostic testing.
- Establish diagnosis of cardiovascular ailments and formulate a plan of treatment, as well as assess the patient's response to therapy
- Collaborate with other clinicians and staff members to ensure continuity of care of patients.
- Attend staff educational programs and meetings.
- Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program registered by the New York State Education Department.
- Seeking a minimum of - 2 years' experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner treating cardiovascular medical conditions.
- Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body – American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Must possess current, unencumbered New York State Nursing (RN) license.
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
- Comfortable with the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and Microsoft Office
