- Functions as lead worker for Psychology Assistants, Psychology Interns & students, & coordinates psychological services & programs: participates in a broad range of professional & clinical activities, providing services to adult & geriatric patients
- Administers & interprets psychological tests
- Pprovides individual & group therapy including specialized services to forensic patients when needed
- Reevaluates forensic & non-forensic patients, as assigned
- Makes recommendations for treatment & planning
- Coordinates psychological services & programs
- Participates in team meetings: prepares psychological notes & reports
- Follows up work with adult & geriatric patients during their stay in hospital & gives them additional help to prepare them for adjustment to society before final disposition.
- Serves as psychological consultant in hospital & in community: maintains records & prepares statistical reports.
- Evaluates adult & geriatric patients regarding involuntary commitment to hospital & testifies at probate court hearings.
