    Description

    Overview:
    Ledgent Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our client's team in Sunrise, Florida. This key role involves being the final point of escalation for network issues and handling the transition of infrastructure from Ubiquiti to Cisco technology. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will play a vital role in this transition with the opportunity for a full-time position. The role offers a competitive compensation package.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the transition from Ubiquiti to Cisco systems.
    • Handle all network-related issues as the final escalation point.
    • Implement and maintain network security measures for data safety in a healthcare environment.
    • Conduct regular network performance testing and optimization.
    • Collaborate with the IT team and align with company technology strategies.
    • Provide training on new technologies to team members.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Network Engineer experience managing complex networks.
    • Familiarity with Ubiquiti, Cisco, VLANs, VPNs, VoIP, and network monitoring tools.
    • Proficiency in network protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, and MPLS.
    • Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
    • Previous healthcare industry experience preferred.
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.

    Additional Requirements:

    • On-site presence required in Sunrise, Florida.
    • Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
