    NOW HIRING Forklift Operator in Chesapeake, VA

    Forklift Operators open to relocation
    • $18 to $22 an hour
    • Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift
    • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM
    • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM
    • Weekly pay/Medical/Vision/Dental
    Job Overview for Forklift Operator:

    The Lee Group is looking for a Forklift Operators to work for a valued client in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented and intuitive Forklift Operator to join our team. If you are passionate about material handling, maintaining inventory and ensuring a smooth flow of production, we want to hear from you

    Requirements of the Forklift Operator
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Safely operate a forklift to move materials, finished products, and supplies within the premises.
    • Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using the forklift, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure stacking.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
    • Ability to work without a forklift, at times assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
    • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
    Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator
    • Handle and manage inbound and outbound materials
    • Oversee and keep track of inventory
    • Operating the forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks
    • Be able to work without the forklift assisting in stacking materials
