    Job Title: Senior Product Security Engineer

    Job Description

    The Senior Product Security Engineer has a critical role in maintaining the security and trustworthiness of our products. This individual designs security strategies, evaluates risks, and implements measures to defend our products against potential cyber dangers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Offer strategic technical advice to the Information Security team.
    • Set security architecture standards and advocate for secure design principles.
    • Perform detailed application threat modeling and risk evaluations.
    • Create and enforce secure coding guidelines, static code analysis, dynamic testing, and secure build/deploy procedures.
    • Architect and supervise the establishment of strong security mechanisms for authentication, authorization, cryptography, key management, and secrets handling.
    • Identify and mitigate OWASP Top 10 and other application security threats proactively.
    • Collaborate with development teams to embed effective security controls and testing into their Software Development Life Cycle.
    • Manage and shape relationships with senior-level stakeholders in security technology, engineering, and operations.
    • Promote innovation and strategic planning to address emerging security issues as the company expands.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Over 10 years of experience in product/application security, security architecture, or security engineering, with leadership background.
    • Extensive practical knowledge in secure development practices, cloud-native security designs, threat modeling, and contemporary application security vulnerabilities and solutions.
    • Considerable experience with authentication protocols, cryptography, secrets management, and other fundamental application security concepts.
    • Demonstrated success in establishing and expanding effective product security initiatives and teams.
    • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities and the capacity to define technical visions and goals.
    • Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and motivation.
    • Analytical mindset with remarkable problem-solving abilities.
    • Team player with exceptional collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
    • Comfortable delving into technical specifics while retaining a strategic outlook.
    • Flexible and open to change and continual growth.
    • Authorized to work in the US.

    Nice to Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
    • Thrives in a dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced environment.
    • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and a dedication to product and service security.
    • Previous experience in the realm of Bitcoin.
