The Opportunity
FT/PT OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

OBHG Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

As a clinician-centered company, OBHG provides unparalleled support and resources and superior work/life balance. Full-time Hospitalists have the freedom to create their own schedules - typically eight 24-hour shifts per month - with no on-call duty or office management.

Our Hospitalist positions offer:

Competitive compensation

Flexibility in scheduling – typically working 5 to 7 days per 28-day cycle (written 90+ days out)

Winter Haven Women's Hospital is dedicated to the unique needs of women and newborns with state-of-the-art medical technology and a comforting, family-centered environment. The facility offers a full range of obstetric and gynecological services, a comfortable Mom and Baby Unit, a Level II NICU and an innovative Breast and Imaging Center. The hospital offers education for new mothers and families including car seat inspections, birth center tours, breastfeeding classes, prepared childbirth classes, sibling classes and babysitting classes.

Winter Haven, Florida, one of the most popular places in the U.S. to live or retire, sits right between Tampa and Orlando and is only about an hour's drive from each. Known as the Chain of Lakes City, Winter Haven boasts more than 50 sparkling canal-linked lakes for recreation, along with a small-town community vibe, a dynamic arts and theater scene, and a growing medical and technology center in the downtown business district.Attractions include the Fantasy of Flight where visitors can explore a collection of vintage aircraft, the Legoland Florida Resort, and alligator watching at the Circle B Bar Reserve.
