ResponsibilitiesManager Network Engineering
OPPD is seeking a seasoned a seasoned Manager Network Engineering.
The Manager Network Engineering will manage and oversee the engineering, planning and efficient operations of all OPPD voice and data networks infrastructure and contact center technologies in order to ensure the highest quality of customer service while maintaining secure and functional technology environments.
Develop and continually enhance voice and data network infrastructure standards; policies and procedures; define services offered and supported, and leverage selected staff for the analysis, design, deployment, and operation of systems supporting business technology environment and the business to meet and/or exceed assigned Key Accountabilities (KAs).
This individual will collaborate with the leadership team and interact with peers across OPPD business units to ensure alignment with OPPD's objectives and initiatives to strengthen OPPD as an industry leader, employer of choice, and community partner.

QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's Degree in Electric or Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Network Systems or a combination of education and experience in electric or communications engineering, networking or telecommunications.
Five years of experience managing/leading networking system engineering teams
Experience managing 24x7 IT operations with a service orientation
Demonstrated previous work experience effectively overseeing the coordination and execution of infrastructure projects
Demonstrates good understanding of business and financial aspects of IT
Must be able to partner effectively across all level of the organization
A good familiarity with the major cloud platforms related to networking, server, storage and hyper converged technologies, WAN acceleration devices, and core infrastructure platforms (i.e. Microsoft, Redhat, VMware).
Desired:
Master's Degree with a technology focus or MBA
ITIL or COBIT certification
Certifications in Cisco/Microsoft/Telecommunications
PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
